First part agree 100% second bit........ He had a choice of how to play it, he had to see close up how each player worked and then decide . so I guess a clean break " Hi I am Liam and my favourite dong is is I'll do it my way!" I did some research on how he lined up ...[ at Oxford ] he kept a similar team, but looked like occassionally for 1 game or 2 he rotated, with players not injured! His formations seemed to be changed quite regularly ....... .....in his "speech's" he states he plays to what is expected from the opposition and this does seem to fit into what I researched... if the players had the ability to cover 2 jobs ther next game that was where they / how they played if not they were rotated! The same with the line up's [ BEEB ] often get this wrong! BTW
Every manager will experience games where their team has been the better of the two and come away with nothing It happens less to the top teams……just sayin’
