After reading the characters thread and seeing the likes of Joey Barton etc popping up made me think of Robbie Savage who was also a massive character on and off the pitch. Since his retirement he has taken up a new role and seems to be like the go to guy for football knowledge. I often read his views and watch his videos on the BBC website. I think he is very knowledgable in regards to footballing incidents around the world and regularly gives his own opinion and backs it up with experience (tactic leaking). Anyone else have any views on the guy?
I know its his job to be argumentative, but I find him quite annoying on 606. He seems to always say that because he played the game his view is correct, and the caller isn't.
He needs voice coaching - sounds like he's sucking a helium balloon before he comes on - to be quite honest anybody's gotta be better than Messrs Murray and Chiles. Ghastly, the pair of them.
Chatted to him for a bit when I saw him at the Cheltenham Festival last month. Decent enough guy, but very orange though. Did clash with his blond barnet !!!!
