We've got West Ham for the penultimate game of the season. Would be a shame to relegate them, wouldn't it? <whistle>
Mackay to replace Allardyce?

Pellegrini misunderstood how many goals they needed to top the group against Bayern and accidently took the wrong striker off recently when he wrote down the wrong number for a substitution and it looks like it's rubbing off any his players. Dzeko said after the game "it's not easy to win 5-0 at home against a Premier League team but we did" before he had to be told it was 6-0 :D

Apparently they come in white and you (not me ) supply the red!

4. West Ham manager Sam Allardyce: "It's not unique to us is it? Manchester City have done this to Tottenham and Manchester United. We knew they had to have an off night and they didn't, their finishing was outstanding in every sense of the word.

"We've got a struggling defensive unit and they are low on confidence. "Relegation" Roger did a good job. We haven't got a fully fit squad and I am in a hole and I need to dig myself out somehow by blaming as many people as I can reasonably get away with - even unreasonably."

Ahem! I may have made a couple of corrections to put across what BFS really meant to say.

5. Actually, BFS shouldn't worry too much. It's understood that Carroll will soon be back, so BFS will be able to revert to the hoof-ball tactics that he knows and loves so well.

I didn't watch the City game - I was distracted by the sound of a cat crying outside. When I looked out, I saw four blokes in Utd shirts playing football with it.

I was just about to call the RSPCA when the cat went 1-0 up:emoticon-0105-wink:

I can go one better - slaughtering them, consigning them to the Championship, and getting Allarshite the boot in one afternoon.

We had the same same scenario in 2003 and failed. Didn't even need to win just a draw would have relegated them there and then.

That could be classed as child abuse in some quarters <whistle>

12. That squad would probably do the Spanners 0-2.

Bayern Munich don't agree with the amount that their fans will have to pay for a ticket to their Champions League tie at the Emirates.
They should cost £62/€75 per ticket, but the German club are selling them to their fans for £37/€45 instead, taking some of the sting out of it.

I think it's a bit difficult to criticise them when we charge up to £81 for our category A games.

No British clubs charge as low as £45 for the last 16 of the CL, so no not really. It condenses down to either (i) greedy prem clubs in general, or (ii) generous german clubs

Or both. Add it fans that actually take action when the clubs take the piss and I think that pretty much completes the picture.

Bayern have nicked another one of their rivals' players, though. Eintracht Frankfurt's 23-year-old midfielder Sebastian Rode will join Munich in the summer on a free.
Strengthening themselves and weakening their opponents without paying out any money. Clever, but their league will suffer, I think.

Supply and demand though. Arsenal sell out their home games so why would they ever drop their prices. Will the fans ever choose not to consistently go to create that lack of demand? Doubtful.

If Bayern raised their prices, would their fans not go? Is that why their prices are cheaper? If not, then that's impressive financially from them.

Bayern have massive demand for their tickets. They expect to get 18,000 applications for the 2,974 tickets for your game, for example.
The subsidy will cost them £74,000. How much is the goodwill and advertising that the move has created worth? Considerably more than that, in my opinion.

Premier League clubs don't value their fans. We're treated purely as customers.

Not entirely true. Arsenal wouldn't subsidize their fans' away tickets if that was the case.
