Utter idiocy form those Sunderland players there. They had a corner and the guy taking it flicked it to a guy standing next to him who stopped the ball for the first guy to take it. No one was stood on the line so it's offside They've been great so far but to lose the chance of a cross into the box because he wanted to take it from a yard into the pitch is just stupid
Utd lucky to only be one down at HT. Good day for Liverpool fans, so far. I wonder who Hodgson's going to call up to replace all of these panicky Man Utd players when they mysteriously get injuries that last for the exact duration of the international break?
Someone on BBC text making a good point shocker! He asked why United let Pogba go with that midfield that was left? Should've just treated him like a first team player and given him a contract that reflected it. I've seen him play a few times and no way would he let Sunderland run all over him like Carrick and Cleverley are.
Sunderland are chokers. United have made them pay. They played right into United's hands 2nd half. No confidence, will be lucky to see 20 points this season.
Too early to judge that, DL. They might get in a decent coach and turn it around. They're not looking good right now, but at least they're putting in some effort.
United plastics will be crowing here with a new hero to cheer but in reality they've got out of jail with a pretty dire performance there haven't they. Zanuzaj gets to be a hero for a while, Moyes gets the credit for playing him and all may seem rosy right now but that really does paper over the cracks for them.
Zanuzaj was quite good in the U21 game a few months ago at the Lodge. His holdup play when all they had was the long ball (not hoofing) out due to the Spurs MF being rampant, was very notable.
Remy scores another two goals, I remember Redknapp saying he tried to sign him while at spurs, along with Carzola, quite a few players Redknapp rated, wasnt allowed to sign yet went onto become a success, would explain some of the digs he had at levy about wages etc. But back to Remy, thats him the new hero in Newcastle, wasnt too long ago it was cisse and ba, cisse proved to be a one season wonder while BA gave up his career for a big contract!
If the rumours are to be believed 'Arry also tried to sign Kevin Davies, Emile ******, and David James though... Swings and roundabouts.
David James Lol...world class on his day ( grin)'......yeah course it swings in roundabouts, look at Fergie, how many duds did he buy? but no denying Redknapp wasnt fully backed and he even has Robert green and Joey Barton performing each week, some managers can get performances out of players we class as crap.
