Born 9 June 1950 Kingston upon Hull, England - Died 21 May 2013 (age 62) At 7.30 tonight, Trevor passed away at Castle Hill Hospital, after a short battle with cancer. I'm not the only person on this board to have been fortunate to have Trevor as a friend, he was a great bloke who will be very sadly missed. He was also one of the most talented bass players this country has ever seen, he was also a true gent. Gone, but never forgotten... Terrible news.....I was lucky enough to meet Trevor a number of times and share an odd pint in Brickmakers a true gentleman along with being one of the greatest and underrated bass players....God Bless...from one of the original Heepsters!
What a huge shame. RIP. Wasn't he and Woody meant to be reuniting to perform for a Mick Ronson memorial concert in London this summer too?

I am so very sad at the passing of not only a great bass player and musician but he was a genuinely good bloke with it. I was fortunate enough to play in a band with his late brother and got to know Trevor quite well. He was in good form just two months ago ironically at his brother's funeral and that's the memory amongst lots of other good happy memories I will hold onto. I'll spend the night listening to his music, paying my respects and thinking of his family. Rest In Peace Trevor Bolder
I was with Shelly, Ashley and Sarah last night, we knew he didn't have long, but it's still heartbreaking when it actually happens.
Strangely, I have an LP of Uriah Heep (the old vinyl for those who wouldn't remember them) but hadn't realised Trevor was their bassist. RIP Mister Bolder
Death never comes at a good time. It's awful whenever it occurs. Awful. Obviously a well respected gent. RIP
R.i.P and condolences to his family. Not a good week for music..did not realise that he was the bass player for Uriah heep. On of my all time fav songs by them....
This is a really shock we were only discussing about him on this thread a few weeks ago. Had the pleasure meeting him many years ago, truely nice guy. RIP Trevor.
RIP I never realised there was another Hull member of The Spiders From Mars. His face is very, very familiar though! I've definitely seen him somewhere before but can't place where. Did he ever go to the KC as it may have been from there?
There were two indeed KirkellaTiger and Woody the drummer hailed from Driffield. The guy who introduced Bowie to Ronno and then the others was Hull born John Cambridge (Cambo to his friends!). Bizarrely there one or two more Hull or nearby connections with Bowie
RIP Trev a true Gent a brilliant bass player and always helpful and positive to fellow musicians. Love to the family..we'll miss you Trev
