    This is crazy, the guy had been having headaches for weeks before the fight, he should never have been in the ring. All those around him should be taking a long hard look at themselves.

    Ryan Baird aged 39, died when his coach overturned on the way to a Rangers game yesterday (another 18 taken to hospital).

    Rod Temperton, the British songwriter best known for Michael Jackson's Thriller and Rock With You, has died.Was from Cleethorpes and wrote for and was a member of Heatwave (Boogie Nights etc.).

    I heard this today and wasn't aware of his origins... Some absolute Classics as AR has already said. You just hope that someone with two brain cells at City of Culture is all over this. Surely when you're looking for icons (maybe too strong a word) for such an event you have to make people think crikey Hull had some really amazing people. I was thinking about the origins of football and what has been done about that. Excuse my ignorance for the name of the man involved who was from Hull..
