I think he will be remembered for his ability to confound the doctors and show what the human spirit is capable of almost as much as his scientific genius. I didn't understand a lot of his science, but was always moved by his determination not to let his illness win. They will miss him on The Big Bang Theory too. He appeared on there a few times. RIP Stephen Hawking.
Best thing about Bullseye was watching someone from a high-rise in Wolverhampton winning a speedboat. RIP Jim.
Apparently he actually said that when they did a pilot for the show and he was worried he would get the bullet.
I still say Super, Smashing, Great, why is it always a speed boat. I know that's not Jim Bowen that said the last bit, but a comedian who used to do an impression of him. Another genius of the comedy variety gone.
Two great men from totally different spheres, Hawking changed the way we see the world but you can't beat a bit of bully. RIP to both men
Gutted about Stephen Hawking. Lived life to the max despite his debilitating illness. He's someone I admired greatly. He really is an inspiration to those that say 'I can't' RIP Stephen Hawking
