After a great start to the week comes the very sad new of the passing of Stephen Sutton, a local lad to me, his illness and the way he dealt with it has had a big impact on people not only locally but across the country. I pass his old school everyday and its going to be hard driving past the ribbons tied all the way along the fencing on the way home tonight. Cancer is a terrible disease and never more so than when it affects those so young.

To those of you that have yet to donate to his JustGiving page - please consider making a donation in his memory today.

    Thanks

    Cannock

Hear, hear. Would you have had the courage that this lad had? I know I wouldn't. RIP Stephen.

Indeed. What an incredibly brave & humble lad. Stephen's Story is far more worth exploring than, say, the passing of a celebrity with whom we only know via the media or the silver screen or a 'pop' icon. This young gentleman should be an inspiration to those of us that still have the privilege of being alive.

    RIP Stephen.
