rip robbie robertson, whilst the name might not mean mutch to younger readers,he was the driving force along with levon helme and others of late sixties early seventies folk rock band, the band famous for songs like the weight and the night they drove old dixie down and later as bob dylans backing band,also stars of the best concert movie ever made,, the last waltz, as another post said, when the music dies a little of your soul dies with it, rip and thank you
Another Canadian superstar musician has left the scene but the legacy of "The Band" will never die. R.I.P. Robbie.
