    RIP indeed.

Went far too young and made I laff.

    Probably Neil's fault, bloody hippy.

I used to like him as Kevin Turvey in kick up the 80's. Have you ever seen that one?

..and all the grown-ups will say, "But why are the kids crying?" And the kids will say, "Haven't you heard? Rick is dead"

sad news indeed. Grew up watching Rik in Bottom, Young Ones, some cameo's in Black adder and of course Drop Dead Fred. A big loss to British Comedy, and at such a young age too :(

Such sad news, RIP Rick, Thanks for the laughter and the memories. Used to love watching The Young Ones, Filthy, Rich and Catflap and Bottom with my older brother. Loved the comic relief single with Cliff and always liked the episode of Bottom with the gas man.
