http://bit.ly/11feb3d Let me stay! Ferdinand wants to prolong United career... but won't emulate Giggs ... #MailOnline

Daily Mail are reporting today that Ferdinand is set to stay for another season, I personally think it's a great decision, he has had a great season.

But my question is, do we need to sign another centreback for next season as cover, we've seen this season once again having to drop Carrick back when we had injurys.

Ferdinand, Vidic, Evans, Smalling and Jones, is this enough considering Ferdinands age and Vidic's injury troubles?

Would like someone like Hummels (can dream) or any of the new promising German Centre Backs emerging like Wollscheid.

Jagielka really? I've never thought about that choice. Yeh he would fit nicely in there wouldn't he!

Isn't Jags over 30? Not the best long term replacement imo.

Jags years ago would have been excellent for Utd. He still would do a job for 2-3 seasons but like Swarbs said not the long term replacement.
