Riise and Riise

Assuming that nothing goes wrong with John Arne Riise's medical, and assuming that Bjorn Helge doesn't get shipped out, we'll have a pair of brothers in the first team squad. Can any of the old heads on this board remember the last time that was the case? Apart from Andy and Eddie Johnson, of course.

Remember Jimmy and Eddie, but not the other two............how odd.

 

The 50s are a bit hazy for me Tosh. I only remember John Conway because he was Jimmy's brother. He probably only played a couple of dozen first team games in the what, 3 - 4 years at the club.

 

I should have known that you're all too smart for this - I was hoping for a 'Gotcha' moment when someone tried putting me right about AJ and EJ. It might have worked too, if it wasn't for you meddling kids!
