Loved him but I see this going badly. I wish him the best of luck and would love to see him wipe the smug smile off wife-beater Mayweather's face but I doubt he'll ever get a fight against someone of that calibre again, and if he did, I fear he'd get hurt.
I read an article with McGuigan that said he's targeting Malignaggi after a couple of fights for the WBA. I can see him beating him, but yeah any of Mayweather, Pacman or Timothy Bradley would beat him and probably hurt him.

Who's to say Ricky's life wasn't unraveling when he got beat, the guy likes a drink, he's admitted he got caught up with drugs, his relationship went crook!
