So he was very bad today, but he isn't a LB and Bruce should hopefully realize this. He should be a back up for Sess, not a starter. It's not his fault Bruce insists on playing him there, Bruce should tell him to take a pay cut and expect to be spending a lot of time on the bench if he wants to stay.

Problem with Richardson is he doesn't have claim to fame in any position he's ever played.

Many think the only position he's worthy of playing is in behind the front two but even there he makes some reet gaffs and ends up chasing back to foul in midfield or around our box.

For me, the only position he should get near our starting 11 at the mo is left wing, and that's at a push. Probably, shouldn't be in the team at all. We've moved on over the past few years and Richardson's stood still.

If Bruce sticks him at left back versus the Mags I'll buy the minciest mince pie and hoy it at Bruce from up in the concourse! <whistle>

He was very bad today, he is very bad every time I have seen him play.
One or two matches apart he has been dreadful wherever he plays.
I deliberately didn't mention him when I saw he was in the team. (Hoping above hope he would prove me wrong, honestly!)
His shot apart his all round play was abysmal.
He can't even make the simplest pass it seems.
Yet people still keep saying he should be given a chance.
    Why?
He has had years of chances and failed totally.
IMHO he is a liability every time he plays.
With the improvements in the squad, he should be a squad player at most.
Not first choice, and if an offer of a packet of digestives came in for him, we should snatch their hands off.

The thing is we don't have a left winger, so why don't they play him there, after all that is his natural position?? The problem is we don't have a left back. Bardo is a RB and should NOT be moved after todays superb performance against Downing.

He's a bizarre player. Forever in the history books under the section 'That Kieran Richardson freekick derby' but he is so inconsistent it's unreal. I actually thought he looked decent at LB for a few games last year but nothing permanent. He then looked okay in the middle, left and off the striker but after one or two games in each position he looked way out of his depth. His biggest problem is his brain. So many needless fouls, niggly crap tackles and sloppy freekicks given away. I also saw a stat saying over the past 3 years he's the most booked player with 27 yellows.....that's the sort of stuff that potentially gives away so many points.

Posted this last week....nothing changed then...

I know it's all about opinions.
But Richardson can't tackle, can't pick a pass, can't head a ball, can't cross, can't shoot, gives 40 odd (exageration) free kicks away every match, gets book every 3 minutes (slight exageration) is petulant and is a lazy tw*t.
What the hell do people see in him.

I think for the past few years he's lived on 'That' free-kick. What he lived on before that is anyone's guess!

He has to sit in that dressing room today and look about him. The lads would have been hyper after a very, very good result. He should sit there and realise he is drinking in the last chance saloon. He is still far too petulant (and he aint just a young boy anymore). He needs to think long and hard about knuckling down and playing as a fast left back, or accept he will be moved on.

When he came to us I was more than pleased. But now he is coming through as our weakest link. Positives for him are he still has speed, can take a left footed free-kick and - lets be fair - is aggressive. I want him to succeed - surely we all do!

He needs to come on this site and realise he aint as great as he thinks!

Don't like "knocking" any of our players, but, all teams seem to have a scapegoat, and now that Murphy has gone,Richardson is our..and rightly so.Bruce must surely see that he is not a full-back!
