Blimey Dave I've read some crap on your board over the last few days but this surpasses all of it.

Top marks to Wrighty. Colchester United are you watching?

BTW - I was talking about the Beeb article and not your post just to be clear <ok>

Read the full story on TWTD and tell me that's not a man to be respected. <applause>

Typcial **** BBC.co.uk 'journalism' - every bit as bad as the red tops.

Give him a coaching position. If he doesn't want to move too far away from his family he may have to decide to stop playing and try something new. It's only a sentimental thought because he has done a lot for our club. In reality we should save the wages to spend on players though.

Perhaps its all a cover up, and the real reason he left, was because he fell out of another loft.

I think a thread like this, just sums up what a ****ing pathetic bunch of ignorant ****s some Norwich fans are! heres a bloke who is seperated from his family and he has been big enough to stand up and say so, yet they back a fat **** who publically hold their club ransom because in their worlds 'he is doing for his family'!

if one thread said it all what an arrogant bunch of twats norwich fans have become then this is it!

can't see what has been said that is so horrific to be honest - complete over reaction.

Hardly supers, if the shoe was on the other foot you would be like Usain Bolt with his ass on fire in the race to take the moral high ground!

probably true, but that sort of thing HAS happened and that too is an over reaction! you can't have it both ways - if you want to come on our board and take the piss then i would expect people to do it the other way round. my issue here is that nothing malicious has been said. i think people would have sympathy with him for his situation, but its pretty obvious that people will then make a funny link to him returning to ipswich seeing as he has been signed more times than i can remember!

I don't think even you can accuse me of taking the moral high ground, yes i go on your board to give my 'alternative' views on norwich but even i wouldn't post a thread like this! and in the original post i can't see any hint of wright joining ipswich again as you maintain, it was just somebody who should be old enough and wise enough not to fall in the trap of copying some of the twats you have on your board at the moment.

Banter is encouraged on this board, on sure a lot of threads that have been posted on this board would have closed down within minutes if the shoe was on another foot, but a bit more understanding to wrighty would have been appriciated!

Good Good Carra, like i have said before at least when i try to take a rise out of you boys its because of something to actually do with your club and not a former player who happened to miss being with his family! It just shows how low you boys have become, pretty sad really!

guru I do think you're getting worked up over nothing on this one. I balked at the BBC article because it only tells half the story and leads with a headline about homesickness. In the context of the full story Dave's comments would seem idiotic, but in the context of the sensationalist BBC piece I can see where it came from.
