And the blurb from the Club - "Having progressed through the Leicester City academy, Stearman made his debut for the Foxes shortly after his 17th birthday in a goalless draw with Cardiff City in the Championship. He went on to play 130 times for the club, and scored 11 goals. After winning both the fans’ and Players’ Player of the Season awards in 2007/08, Stearman joined Wolves for an undisclosed fee. He featured 40 times in his debut season at Molineux as they won the title, and he was named in the PFA Championship Team of the Year. He was a regular in the side as Wolves avoided relegation for two seasons running, but he was unable to prevent them slipping out of the top flight in 2011/12. In total, he appeared 77 times in the Premier League. Stearman re-joined former Wolves manager Mick McCarthy on loan at Ipswich Town for the second half of the 2012/13 campaign, but returned to Molineux to help them secure the League One title the following season. Last term he was a major factor in the club’s successful first season back in the Championship, as the team secured a seventh place finish, and Stearman was again named both the fans’ and Players’ Player of the Year. The 28-year-old leaves Wolves having featured 234 times for the club."
