SLB, I always liked him too and was very sad to see him go. He is a good shot stopper and I think it was purely his height that held him back. I saw Gilmartin in the pre-season and he was very shaky. I'd be very worried if he was our first choice goalkeeper.

I think Gilmartin should be given a go. OK, he made a howler against Brighton, but Loach has many this season and clearly his confidence has been shot.

Gilmartin must have some kind of ability for the club to bring him in and i agree with what's been said, I would like to see him get a run of games

It was a shame we lost Lee, a great keeper in my opinion and considering he has a goalkeeping course up and running along with other things i could see him coming back to us a coach for sure

As for Loach, I've never been entirely convinced but won't deny that he has been good for us on many occasions, wouldn't say no to anything in excess of 1million though if it's still on the table!

I still remember Lee's last game for us - that horror show at home to Blackpool, which was AB's last game. The end of an era for both men. Let's not forget Lee left bcos he dropped below the required standard.

I hope we can have another season with Loach whilst Gil and Bond prepare for life after Loach's multi million pound move to ........ Can I dream?

Gilmartin is a keeper from lower league football who has not played at this level frankly to consider dropping a keeper considered good enough for the england squad is madness- it wouldnt happen in any other position- oh look young lost the ball maybe we should try that guy on loan from rotheram.

Gk is a heroe or zeroe position too many watford fans see the zeroe perspective, they expect a keeper to save a one on one but wluld expect our syrikers to score it! We have played open attacking football this year which means we are more exsposed defensively

We need to keep working with scotty, he's obviously a very gifted shot stopper with some weaknesses still in his game, particularly communication and managing his defence it would seem. He needs to keep going and the coaches need to work on those weaknesses and then move him on for as much cash as we can hopefully at a point where bond comes in and excels with gilmartin playing the backup role.

I would like to see Gilmarten get a couple of games now the season is effectively over ,Scotties nearly been everpresent and I think he deserves a rest , I think he would come back and play a lot better if he had a couple of weeks off!! I just think he is now trying too hard ,and its affecting his form!
