    Jordan Rhodes has signed a new five-year-contract with Venkys, so if anyone wants him they'll have to pay mega-silly money...

    Maybe, just maybe he likes playing for them and wants to stay there. Maybe he's happy with the money. It's his life. He can live it how he wants.

    We quite often slate a player for jumping ship at the first opportunity, so maybe he deserves a little respect for this decision. Hard to imagine its loyalty, but rude to dismiss it.

    Yes! Yes, thank you SB! It's exactly what I've been trying to say for months, but no one wants to listen. He is a championship player, and a good one at that, but never a premiership class striker.

    Blackburn are just protecting their biggest asset, by giving him a longer and probably more lucrative contract they will safeguard their promotion challenge for the coming season and keep him sweet as well. It will mean any club looking to buy will have to shell out £10 million + based on McCormack's fee.

    I think his partnership with Gestede makes Blackburn serious contenders and if the Venkys don't f*ck it up again they'll be in the mix at the end of the season...
