Quite pleased with this signing. He's 32 years old and a former club captain in the division above. I feel if we had him last season at Torquay then things would have been different with him coming onto the field instead of a 19 year old on loan. We now have 3 quality CB's (S Cansdell-Sheriff can provide cover at LB and I presume he will do so at the start of the season with Jacobson's ban), 2 LB's and 1 RB. Could do with an out and out RB joining aswell as that CM we're crying out for!
Forgot Jacobson's banned Hazell could be quality but will he drift away being a squad player and 32 in his twilight years? Although SCS-Hazell-Sharps-? sounds solid.
to be fair, he was a good player. but his injury was bad and was out of the game for a while. never been the same since. good to see him still in league football.
