What can we make of who has been kept and who hasn't.

    Retained....Warren Feeney.....Robbie Williams.....Durrell Berry.....Joe Lennox.....and Ollie Chenoweth.

Not retained.....Luke Daley.....and of course Damien Johnson.

Can we come to any conclusion from the above.

Does it mean we are not looking for a goalkeeper.

Does it mean that we are happy with.the defence,

So we are maybe looking for what.....midfielders.....Strikers.....who knows.

What we do know is that at present ....MacDonald .....Bignot.....Tsoumou.....Hemmings.....have returned to their parent clubs.

My only problem with the above list is Feeney. Admire his endeavour but don't rate him or his strike rate. To be effective he needs a totally different game to be played around him. Maybe his retention is a sign that the style will change though. No shock at the other 2 being cast adrift and Johnson was never going to be kept and was always going to be a freebee for Huddersfield.

We still need a couple of strikers and one needs to be reasonably prolific. Target man who can hold up and lay off in the Evans style should be one. Midfield we need a couple and one needs to be a play maker at least if not both. Happy with the defence yes. Would love MacDonald to come back and possibly Hemmings as well. None of the rest for me although we will probably get a couple of loanees anyway.

Dont forget that we still have Chadders, Wotton, Walton, Nelson, Blanchard, Purse, Young and Bhasera (Plus the youngsters).

We need a goalscorer, a midfield maestro, someone to cover RB and one more CB. IMO.

Think we have defence covered even in the centre with Nelson and Walton or Wotton can drop in there RB would be good. Priority number 1 has to be goal scorer and that wont be easy or cheap to find. Pace out wide, with a decent final ball, and attacking midfielder then the rest would just be strengthening squad. Hopefully Young will keep improving and come into the team more next season and LeCointe although I think he may need another year.

Hi Mexijan. LeCointe is an interesting one. I think he is a good "off the bench" player and will develope into a decent striker in the end. The rest of your opinion is pretty much what I've said about needs so would have to agree with you there.
