They are the 4 which are out of contract and JET HAS had an offer from an unnamed club. As for Cunningham, Banksy. If he leaves it will be for a fee, not released. I can see quite a few others leaving as well. El-Abd, Osborne, Reid, Wagstaff....
Clear out the ones not part of our plans going forward and bring in fresh blood that can boost our Championship campaign. Sounds good to me.
Is Dave Richards is released because of being out of contract or just your opinion Shinster? I would of liked to see if he had something about him, not seen him play but that don't mean he's crap just Fielding didn't get injured nor did he really have a bad spell.
Not opinion, pretty much fact. I wouldn't say I was 100% sure but if we are announcing an retained list that means players who are out of contract will be going and we only have 4 first team players who are, being, Richards, Elliott, Pack and JET. I'm sure we'll see a few U-21s being released also.
Cant really understand the situation with Osbourne I always thought he was a pretty decent defender-maybe one of the best we have, but something went wrong there
Shame in a way about JET especially after yesterdays performance... BUT We all know he's a bit Marmite...
Well got it pretty much right. Glad Elliott has been offered the U-21 job as it will be good to keep him around the place. Let's hope he accepts. Upset about JET not being offered a new contract. Thought he deserved at least that, even if it was the same money and only 12 months, would have been nice to have at least tried to keep him! He'll have no trouble at all getting a new club. Our loss, someone else's huge gain.
I can see our reasoning for not keeping JET. On his good days he's unplayable, but he's very much a luxury player, and that might not be the best idea for a promoted club.
