In their final match, the reserves had a great 2-1 win away to West Brom. This was the team's 7th consecutive win without defeat and earns them second spot in the league.

Our scorers were Trotta (again) and Alex Smith (on the stroke of half time).

The full line up was -

Neil Etheridge, Alex Brister, Courtney Harris, Josh Pritchard, Dan Burn, Mahrez Bettache, Ryan Williams, Alex Smith, Marcello Trotta, Tom Donegan, Charles Banya

Subs: Marcus Bettinelli, Buomesca Tue Na Bangna, Rob Maloney, Lasse Vigen Christensen

    NB no Mesca ??

Well done Ray Lew in his final game AND THE TEAM

Good info cottager. It appears that success has this season run through all teams.
Well done to all the players and coaching staff, especially Ray.

Here is the match report from the Away lot - as usual the Club site report gives nothing more than the outcome !!

NB 1. Mesca in fact did take part (my apologies); he came on as sub.

NB 2. Young Alex Smith seems to be thriving in the left midfield position; having moved there from fullback about half way through the season. He's awful 'slight' (only 175cm and 54.4kg - what's that 5'9 and something like 10st in old money) but his mobility gives him an edge.
