Did anyone actually see this character being interviewed? I'm a North East lad, and I hardly understood a word he said, so God knows what the interviewer made of him...
Wonder who'll get a run out? Sunderland reserves are set to face local rivals Newcastle United at the Stadium of Light on Wednesday (KO 7pm). The second-string come up against United on the back of an away draw with Bolton Wanderers, currently sitting third in the Barclays Premier Reserve League North. Ahead of the game, manager Bertschin has revealed that the players will prepare in the same way but admits there's a little bit more importance about the game. Bertschin said: "The same things will be demanded of the players as in any other game. However, of course it is a derby game so that makes it more important. "We all want to win the game and we're very much looking forward to the chance to play at the Stadium of Light. "It's a big thrill for the lads to play at the stadium, for a few of them it will be their first time. "They need to go out and perform against Newcastle the way they know they can and hopefully get something from the game." Newcastle are at the top of the reserve league table, having played two more games than Sunderland.
