Watched a bit of the reservs game against Arsenal earlier today and must say that Sterling looked head and shoulders above the rest of the team. I know there has been a lot of talk about him getting a chance recently and I've not seen an awful lot of him but he looked composed and was confident to take on his man. He knows how to take on a player (the Arsenal right back had no clue how to defend agaisnt him) and what impressed me most was that he was more than happy to go down the line onto his left foot.

The few times I saw him last year he would always cut in on his right but it seems he's developed that part of his game well (even though the crosses weren't brilliant). Hope he gets a couple of sub appearences at the end of the season as a reward for the hard work he's put in.

He also took his goal very well, brought it down turned, skipped past a player and fired it in low.

Was also imperssed with Wisdom. Was good in the air and looked very comfortable bringing the ball out of defence. Reminded me of Agger a bit there.

I hear he is a smart player..........

I think those two, Coady, and Suso will be the next lot. I know many are on about Morgan but I have not seen a thing on him and there are questions over the physical side of his game.

I like both of them too.

Wisdom is similar to micah richards in many ways, he's not quite made the level where richards was when he got his debut and of course when richards got his chance city were no blessed as they are.

I have not seen the game at all seeing i am away at work.... but.... My opinion is sterling needs to take more chances to be really impressive as some of his finshing and final ball is basically like what a 17 year old would. On the other hand the positions he takes up and pace and skills on the ball are absolutely brilliant.

If sterling scored a few more or made a few more consistently i think he'd already be in the firsts.... BUT... i think he's going to be on the bench late on this season. I really think this is like michael owen in 1997, played one v wimbledon then the following seaosn was playing for england i nthe 1998 world cup.... i really think he can have a big impact

Coady.... i think he's better than spearing was but has a lot to learn in positioning and discipline.... morgan is better then eccelston as he can finish when a chance comes much better but he's not got the pace... I think morgan is another nemeth, close but i can't see him taking the place by storm.

The impression I have of Morgan is that he's not the most skillful, nor the quickest but he has good awareness, intelligence - the fox in the box ...
