    Noble, Vaughan, Gardner, Bramble and Meyler all due to play. Can we assume from that that Mr O'Neill will be there? Does this mean these players won't be in contention for Sunday or does it mean the gaffer wants to see them in a game with a view to them impressing enough to take on Blackburn? With Bendy a doubt, Noble has a real chance to impress the new boss. Im hoping to see Vaughan and Gardner replace catts n Colback so hope they stake their claim this evening.

    Titus could be back in the picture now with Turners injury and Rico potentially upfront.

    I would say tha MON saw most players on Sunday and this is his chance to see the rest, all in contention for the weekend

    hope so but ideally wouldn't want starters on Sunday burning themselves out on Thursday night

    I would think Gardner would need a run out if he being considered for the weekend...I hope he plays on Sunday...he knows where the net is.

    Big big difference from reserves to premiership but how the hell will we ever know if Noble can cut it in the future if he is not given a chance. Has to play at least 45 mins imo this weekend. If he doesn't get a chance against Blackburn whilst his confidence is sky high he may as well ask to go on loan.

    There was talk of him possibly going on loan in January. Several Championship clubs, including Middlesbrough, have been looking at him.
