"It was unfortunate for the striker that the incident took place in front of the Gillingham dug out where messrs Steve Evans and Paul Raynor deployed their usual manner of reserved demonstration."

The above is taken from the Doncaster free press, my question is would any manager witnessing that treatment of his player, directly in front of him, react any different?
The other week he was accused by some of being booked by the ref, the truth is Raynor was booked for punching the ball away.
SE is never going to be a saint (unless he gets promotion this year) but is he really as bad as his reputation suggests.

Forget everything @alwaysright tells you about VAR...football has a place for what shall we call it...gamemanship. The rule works like this, if you are the home side, you are alwaysright. Hence it was not punching the ball away but merely bouncing off his hand. When Evans goes into one, it's not him getting worked up but merely Scally saving money on the heating, by employing a wind turbine. Obviously when we play away, we are still alwaysright, and the opposition is cheating. As for reputation, Evans is a Saint, he once slayed a dragon I'd have you know. You really need to stop believing everything you read in the paper grumpygit, we on here will always set the record straight, and it's been a pleasure to help <ok>
