Just played missing men on SkySports.com, and the team was Sunderland Team that beat Liverpool 1-0 by the beach ball...

Now I was thinking look at the team that played:

    Gordon
    Bardsley....Turner...Ferdinand...McCartney
    Malbranque.....Cana.....Catts......Reid
    ..............Jones...Bent..............

Now out of those 11, we have 4 on the card. 2 bought by Keane, 2 bought by Bruce.

However how would you compare our starting 11 now to that...

I personally think its far superior, even the strike force. As much as Bent scored, I prefer our cultured football with Sess.

    What do you think?

The current team is far stronger, both in terms of the starting XI and in terms of strength in depth. That team relied so much on Bent it was ridiculous, the current side can lose any 1 player and still perform well.

    Bent yes. Jones no.

That said, our football today doesn't rely on one man for 70% of our goals. We can score from 5 or 6 places these days and even have a full back that can hit 25 yarders.

When Bent failed, we did. That's not The case today.

Jones has been rubbish this season whenever I've seen him (admittedly not all that much.)

Our team now would win 1 or 2-0 in my opinion!

That couldn't be said when Bruce was in charge though Cest, because the team we have now is no different, we just perform alot better under new and better management.
