We had no money, no hope. Loaning players to rivals and paying the bigger percentage of their wages. We couldnt have dreamed to be still on the fringe of the playoffs near the close of the season. Yes we'll probably fall short of the playoffs but its been some turnaround. We might fall short of the playoffs for the next 5 seasons but one thing is for certain with the Allams the infrastructure will keep on improving and in each of them season we might just dare to dream.

Thats a long way from I expected us to be after Millwall caned us.

And, there is still 30 points to play for so its not quite over yet plenty more twists, turns and dreaming...

It's good to put things in to perspective like that. I'm sure all of us Tigers fans would not have expected us to be where we are now and if we don't make the play-offs then there's always next season.

We're still a long way from when we almost dropped out of the football leagues totally, but you're totally right, last August things looked almost as bad as back a few years. Listening on the radio last night, KCFM gave the distinct impression that apart from that momentary lapse when the Villa loan scored, we looked more than good enough to beat them, but their flipping goalie kept getting in the way the bugger!

If we finish just outside the playoffs it can hardly be described as a disaster given at one point this season we almost had no club, and yes, its always possible to get into those playoffs until...welll until it isnt possible. We still have a chance but if it doesnt work out that way, next season we'll be the QPR, cept with less losses I hope!

Start of the season I said I would be happy if we stayed up due to our finanical prediciment and basically having to get rid of our entire squad, mid table would have been classed as an excellant season.

However thanks to the Pearsons, the back room staff, the Allams and some very hungry decent young players we look fantastic! Would love another trip to Wembley however will be more then happy with a top 10 finish

Our best chance was when Fryatt had the chance to pull the ball across goal for Barmby to tap it into an empty net, but instead of making a 10-yard pass with his left foot he decided to turn into trouble just so he could make the pass with his 'stronger foot'.

Just look at the defence we put out against Swansea (first game), Duke, Solano, Zayatte, Gardner and Dawson... People were saying at the start of the season we had one of the best defences in the league (on HDM site) and now look at it! BRILLIANT!

"Duke, Solano, Zayatte, Gardner and Dawson"

Just reading those names and recalling them playing in the same game made me shudder.
