Today but confirmed it for me, we are bound for league 1 no offence to Charlton but we need to be beating them.

I said before the game that if we lost that McInnes would lose my support and he has, no good manager would lose 7 on the trot, it really looks like he doesn't know how to manage us. Simply not good enough McInnes you've had long enough to bring players into positions that we so badly needed before you've arrived and you have failed to do so. You ask for our support we give it and we get nothing in return, your time is now up.

    Rant over

Johnson lost those games at the start of his tenure as manager. McInnes has had twelve months to sort out any crap within the current set-up. Irrespective of what support or what little support he has had from the board I'm afraid it is time to go. He cannot seem to motivate this group and his selections and tactics leave a lot to be desired.

I'm a season ticket holder but have purposely missed the last 4 home games. I guess with my wedding coming up next year I refuse to waste petrol and bridge money to watch completely inept performances.

I like what he has done with the academy and their results have been amazing. I cannot believe none of those kids have been given an opportunity to shine in the first team.

There is no plan B with Del I'm afraid. I have been patient but if we keep him we will be well adrift by Christmas. On the other hand, who is decent and available to take over a team of dead wood with little or no funds from the board. I fear we are already doomed this season.

Little mini-leagues developing at the bottom and the top of the Champ early this season, but plenty of time for change in either. I'm happy we're in the upper one at the mo and genuinely sorry to see you lot in the other.

You seem to be stuck in that frantic 5 at the bottom that hasn't changed for a while except for Charlton stringing a few results together and climbing out of it.

I can see McCarthy hauling Ipswich out of it and Charlton have put some points between you - but it ain't over by a long chalk.

Seems the honeymoon for Dave Jones at Wednesday is over and Posh will struggle all season. Barnsley are traditional kling-ons who might lose their grip this season. We've got them up there next week - give us cheer. :emoticon-0105-wink:

They are your targets to claw yourselves above - the other sides above them like Brum and Leeds seem too strong to let it slip

30 games left - that's a lot of points up for grabs guys. <ok>

I think we should accept the inevitable and hope that SL still wants to be involved when we crash out of the championship.
Then the new manager will get my support if the first thing he does is to buy 5 new defenders and 2 defensive midfield tigers, players with purpose and character.

Otherwise, even if he brought Rooney and Aguero to AG I would still suggest he hops on the next train out of Temp Meads, and all who follow him until we get a manager who knows how to build (ie from the back)

    What can we do?

Maybe put some of the youngsters in and give them chance to show they care more than this bunch.

I don't think they'd get the same stick as the overpaid, crocked loanees who aren't wanted by their club.
So arguing that it may be traumatic for them just doesn't make sense to me.

What is there to lose now - it can't be any worse than it is now can it......(?)

As we choose to be City fans we will always suffer throughout our life's, but there are always a lot worse off than us.

What the board needs to do is to grow a pair, put up their hands and say "we've made ANOTHER mistake".
False economy has been the order of the day for the last two years. Del WAS a massive gamble which has not worked.
In a different article, I said we must do everything possible to stay in this division..........It is time to act before it's too late.
I wanted to give him more games, but after todays display......NO CHANCE....

Sorry Wiz, Prem and all the others that thought Del would work....but he's had over 12 months to sort things out at the club.

    SL. Do the Deed.
