    I was thinking, is it fair to leave the binners over in their barren, desolate hell-hole of a board?

    Shall we take the moral high ground and rescue them on the basis of human rights? They are people at the end of the day, and perhaps they deserve better?

    I think its more humane to leave them where they are. After so many years without any success whatsoever, the constant comparisons with bigger teams, attendance envy, lack of hope, could very well overwhelm them and leave them unable to cope.

    Its a work thing. I get shifted around every few years. In my 4th year in the US. Great place to live (my kids love it here), but there's no place like home. Never really adjusted to US sports (Ice hockey is ok), or US TV (which is utter tosh). There are rare opportunities to get a live football fix - Carolina Railhawks (who are kind of Blue Square standard) recently knocked LA Galaxy out of the Cup. Its not carrow road though.

    It must be awful having every single match available to watch online as well as a good few live on Fox soccer/ ESPN!

    How many 1p5wich games are available over there? <whistle>

    How would I know? Probably none, I'm sure that the yanks would block any streams under the guise of anti-terrorism laws or something! <yikes>

    How's your lad, Chris? Everything ok, I hope?

    He's absolutely great Welly - apart from just being sick all over me just now!!!

    Took him round the city this afternoon and so many people just smile at him because he is so small still - just gone 5 weeks now. I told him do make the most of it because in a few months nobody will give two hoots!!!

    That's sort of what I was hinting at Welly!!! :emoticon-0103-cool:

    I suppose 1p5wich games could get through onto an entertainment channel or a Keystone Cops rerun channel maybe!!!

    Our daughter's 8 months old and she still gets the smiles from people around town, so you've still got a while to go yet! She's been cutting her teeth for the last few weeks, which you've still got to come, not as bad as some say, but whatever, we're enjoying every moment of it (as I'm sure you will)!!

    <cheers>

    We get plenty of UK football on TV here and I get to really relate to Political's Match threads. The last 2-3 years I'm pretty sure it beats following the binners from anywhere in the world. Although have to say I'd prefer to see Ipswich doing much better (not above Norwich of course). Its not quite the same with the current huge gap in class. :emoticon-0116-evilg

    Chris, I'd be happy to lend you my "Ipswich Town -The Glory Years" old black and white VHS video, the only problem is that I lent it to Dave months ago, and he won't give it back!!
