40 years of following Stoke and it just does not get better than that. Atmosphere at Wembley was awesome and credit to Bolton fans who took defeat in good humour. It must have been an awful day for them and they were in great spirits on the way back considering.

Defensively we were fantastic and I can't remember a day when we never for one moment looked like conceding. Shawcross has had a mixed year for me but was bang on yesterday and looked top quality.

Wheelan-where has he been all season-if he can perform like that regularly then we would not need a ball playing midfielder.

Out wide we destroyed them at times and up front Jones bullied them all day.

Shooting-how may times do you see three from outside the box.
By far the best I have ever seen a Stoke play in a big game and that includes the 72 final.

The only downside for me was that I had a Club Wembley ticket and was above the Bolton fans behind the goal and would have loved to have been in the Stoke end. Mind you my brother and I more than made up for it with the noise we made. Can't say we were the most popular people around with many glum Bolton fans sat next to us, but after a while even they laughed at the joy and incredulous looks on our faces as goal after goal went in.

Still in dreamland and am waiting for someone to wake me up.:smile::smile::smile::smile::smile::smile::smile::smile::smile:

just back from wembley and like you northern i am still in shock by this increadible performance it may take a few weeks to sink in.From 10am the fans could be heard around wembley a great pre match atmosphere at the green man pub and the way we played just beggars belief .

All hero'S in red and white and Tony Puils has now broken the records Biggest semi win, first final apperance etc etc.The celebrations continued well into the night and we now do it all over again and have a great chance of lifting the cup .We can go back and just enjoy the accasion and just see what happens.

    Just can't believe it.

    Northern,

Great to hear your views as usual <ok> And I feel exactly the same, this morning I was delirious with happiness, the weird thing is, I didn't even go to Wembley I watched it in a pub, by ma sen with my parents, with NO sound on, and I still regard it as the best day of my life.

    Conroy,

Jealous that you got to go, sounds fantastic! Glad you had a cracking day. Yeah credit to Tone, biggest fa cup win since '39 the war days! BLOODY MARVELLOUS. Still beaming as I type this, a GLORIOUS WIN. Doubt we'll beat MCFC, but we'll give it all we've got, if so I will be STRAIGHT ON HERE, drunk as a monkey with you lot! <laugh>
