I really dislike him for the following reasons: A decent manager like Pullis would have kept us up last season. Harry spent 20 million in January 2013 and we actually got worse and relegated. He kept saying them instead of us the whole of last season. He kept talking about Tottenham. The football this year has been awful and we have hardly ever dominated a game all season. How we are 4th is a mystery really. His coaching staff are useless. He can't motivate. He blames everyone else but himself. He is on 2 million a year and I am sure is only here for the money. He show no enthusiasm. He seems to be able to get Tony to back him.
It won't be his fault though. We got worse under him in the pl so this level of performance is not a surprise, sadly getting McLaren in ended our season. Wed have been mid table and redknapp sacked with a chance to move forward if he wasn't bought in.
The bloke is a disgrace and should be embarrassed with his record here. In March of our prem year after spending 20 odd million he set us a target of 37 points we got to 25. Be a far shorter list to list what there is to like about him He never admits the mistakes and passes the buck Time he starts answering some direct questions that he can be held to account for. Three easy ones for starter from me: - You start the season with only 3 centre backs- Dunne (spent all last season injured), Hill in his mid 30's, and Onouha who's groin and hamstrings are more tweaky then Hoilett's. Q: Are you suprised that you had to play bloody Luke Young at CB today? (Also lucky this didnt happen sooner) - You start the season with 3 strikers. Austin (failed a medical at Hulll before due to his knee and has a dodgy shoulder as he was a brickie), AJ, BZ no comment needed on injuries or their goal scoring. Q: are you suprised we struggled to score goals all year? - Why are we paying Keane and Maiga's wages when Hitchcok is out on loan? Squeeze one more in. Will you just f**k off and resign?
I have to admit i was very happy when we got Harry. Now it looks like the FA (whom i have very little respect for) got it right when they picked Roy over him. After the merry go round we had regarding managers before Harry, I was just hoping for stability. Now I find I have to admit I was wrong and think the sooner he's gone the better it will be for our club. Tactically inept, poor in the transfer market and unwilling to give our own youngsters a go (yet happy to give other clubs youngsters a chance eg, Keane.) I can no longer see what good he is doing my/our club.
Theres a good thread on watrb about what question would you ask him. I've looked around the forums and there's been no more than 1 person defending him while everyone else has been slagging him.
I actually think Harry is trying to get himself sacked. It's one of few explanations that makes sense.
£3m payoff if he's sacked, he will get a lot less if we go up and he retires. Its either that or he's the worst manager in my lifetime. I bet Paul hart could do better with the money Redknapp spent.
