He gave them some great moments in the Champions League, beat Arsenal and finished inside the top 4 twice in 3 years. A great job.
He was on tv earlier saying he was not quitting Spurs, so where has this story come from? Can you post an official confirmation Redknapp has left Spurs?
Turn ssn on boab !! http://http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11661/7811092/Redknapp-to-leave-Spurs-
We should. It may be nowt but Harry is pals with a few wealthy middle east chaps and was asked to come over and manage one of their teams last season. Could it be that the same people are now about to take over Leeds United and wish Harry to be the manager? It may make sense, Harry goes to Leeds to be with his middle east chums and Colin moves to Forest to help them avoid relegation.
I'd take Arry. But I can't understand why he would leave spurs, does he have a better offer? I can't imagine he would and even if he did, the team he has built is his team and he has done very well with them and can continue to do well with them. While he isn't the best manager in the game or even close to it spurs will still struggle to replace him adequately
Has Harry actually walked though, or has he just been sacked? Either way seems a strange decision. Reasons to leave: Maybe can't pay wages of players like Adebayor? Selling Modric or Bale? Reasons to sack him: The spectacular collapse from 3rd when way ahead of rivals Arsenal and 2 up at the Emirates. However he did fantastic to get them there in the first place, especially after the two heavy defeats to the Manchester clubs to open the season.
Maybe he is leaving cos levy offered he would get a great new contract and money to spend on players if he did not go for the england job. Once Hodgson got that job, levy did not carry through so harry told him where to get off. Source: me.
Afraid that effort was far too good to be done with my hands Joshy - just stole it from another thread
Harry Redknapp will reportedly be paid £3,000,000 compensation by Tottenham, which after tax equates to approximately £3,000,000
