Harry Redknapp has been sensationally relieved of his duties, "We need a miracle" said owner Tony Fernandez "so its seems a no-brainer now Pope Benedict has become available"! :D

I've long suspected Arry was the one who bought Jesus for 30 pieces of silver, thinking he was a triffic buy

    Why would they sack him?

6 points from safety when he took over.

    7 points from safety today.

hmm... I guess I didn't think this through.

Is this a joke? I'm not sure. QPR are such a joke themselves, it's hard to tell.

If you'd told me they'd done a swap deal with Chelsea for Benitez, I wouldn't have batted an eyelid.

What a weird career move by Harry Redknapp! You'd think after all those years at Portsmouth he'd be able to spot a sinking ship!

Can't buy a win I've tried this way, that way, we've brought in some new faces, gee'd up the old ones, I'd go an' see the father in Rome if it'd make any difference. What does the Pope drink by the way? Creme De Menthe.

Give us a pint of that!

  7. Spurf, it was yet another example of Redknapp believing his own hype. He forgot that, before us, he wasn't a particularly successful manager; he was merely a competent manager who got extremely lucky by being in the right place, at the right time. He won't do with QPR what he did with us, because neutrals and pundits genuinely looked at us and said that we had far too much quality in our squad to get relegated, and one could instantly see that our problems lay with Ramos and the way in which he seemed to have completely demotivated our entire squad. One cannot say the say about QPR; they look like a side that is ready-made for relegation.

I disagree Hiag, I don't believe QPR are in the bottom 3 squads in the league, they have got some quality players. I'd rate their squad above Wigan, Norwich, Reading and Villa, at least. It's a squad which could have been saved by another manager, but I don't think 'Arry has the ability to change things around there like he did for us, agreed.

In defence of redknapp at least he got them winning a couple of games, went on an unbeaten run which included games agaisnt us, man city and a win over chelsea.

They have just been unlucky not to convert draws into wins, games they should have won like agaisnt Norwich.

Also redknapp said he was never in a relegation battle with us when asked about his time with us after taking the qpr job.

Fair play to arry for giving it a go with qpr, at least he doesnt shy away from a challenge and i hope he shuts a few people.up! (.yes you HIAG :D) ....although it looks an impossible task to save qpr so arry haters can take joy at the "failure"!

Redknapp could still save them from the drop and there's no doubt that he's massively improved their performances since his arrival at Loftus Road.
Had they got him in at the start of the season, then I think they'd be safely in mid-table and looking to push on next season.
Wouldn't surprise me to see him make a return to the Boleyn and replace Sam Allardyce, if the Spammers current form continues.
