read a report this morning saying Chelsea have revived their interest in Luring Harry to be their new manager, now that he has'nt got the England job
It would be fun watching half their squad get peeved due to lack of playing time, whilst the first team run out of steam around Easter...
Chelsea have a fair bit of rebuilding to do, it doesn't make sense to hire a manager who will probably retire within 3 years. Plus if RDM doesn't get the job I think it would only go to a top, top, top manager, not 'Arry. And finally, 'Arry said last year he couldn't take the Chelsea job because he'd be burning every bridge he has at Spurs. After the support shown in the courtcase I can't see that changing, nor can I see him prostituting himself out to every available job just because he missed out on his
Harry's recent tactics certainly looked like he was settling for what he thought he already had. It blew up in his face spectacularly. We must win our remaining two games, and then hope the Chavs get blitzed in Munich.
True. I think Chelsea losing is a more realistic prospect at the moment. All we can do now, is win our 2 games, and hope! It shouldn't have come to this, but unfortunately, it has.
Here's a question, would you rather: 1 - finish 4th and Chelsea with the CL 2 - finish 5th and your choice of Chelsea winning CL or not ???
We finish fourth and Chelsea win the CL - only to be found guilty of match fixing so are thrown out of next season's tournament and receive a five-year ban from Europe, are demoted to the Championship, and are barred from signing players for 18 months. Give our regards to Barnet!
The way to look at it is that we have to play Aston Villa away (plus Fulham at home) whereas Chelsea need to play Bayern Munich away. That sounds like a fairly good deal to me. And just to shorten the odds of Arsenal slipping up I've put Gibbs in my fantasy team. That should see them ship a few goals...
Fantastic idea. Just added Van Persie. Not had a single Spurs player all season for the same (opposite) reason.
So if we get 4th some of you still want Harry out? Would you rather we fail to get 4th in order that you are right?
Getting 4th but then being demoted to the Europa league would make it a moot point - and you can bet that Harry would try and deflect attention away from the fact we'd be at least six points better off right now if it wasn;t for him meddling with the formation and tactics whilst leading everyone to believe he'd be waltzing off to the FA once the season was over.
Harry's hokey cokey team selections. In, out, shake it all about. Harry to Bale, you put your left leg in you take your left leg out, you send him to the right and shake it all about. Oh! the hokey cokey. Knees bend, arms stretch, ouch! ouch! ouch!
"Sandro needs a run of games, so I'll play him in the middle." "Who're you going to drop?" "Aaron." "So who plays on the right?" "I'm sure Gareth can fill in on both flanks." "At the same time?" "Yeah, why not?"
