He has to go while we still have a chance of getting 4th. Worse run in 5 years and looking like we have no hunger or passion. He's lost the dressing room and is clearly thinking of England. A new interim manager could give get 4th. COYS
You know what... usually I would shoot down a thread like this in flames for being knee jerk. But I hate to admit, I agree. I can't see any sense in the twitchy twat sticking out the season now. The damage is already done. A change couldn't be any worse than this so why not plan for next season and kick his sorry butt out the door.
I don't think that it'll matter either way, to be honest. Can't see it happening, either. Perhaps Levy could suggest that he take over early for the Euros? It'd save Stuart Pearce a ton of ****, at least.
Imagine how much it would cost Levi to pay off all the cronies he's give a meal ticket to. No surprise he's managed three clubs that have gone on to be bankrupt.
you're having an absolute mare yet you're still only fifth in the league. a few years ago being fifth for you lot would be a great achievement. I think that says a lot about where Harry has taken you and your team in the last few years. Form fluctuates over the season, you were hardly going to stay in third just as Arsenal were hardly going to stay mid-table all year. We all hit bad patches and it's unfortunate you're having yours at the end of your season. Keep the faith ffs.
Faith in what exactly? A manager who has publicly flirted with the idea of Managing England. Not shown any loyalty to Spurs or declared he's staying. Our Manager is about to walk... this isn't about having a manager who has made us onto a bad team due to poor management alone, it's down to the fact that he has his priorities elsewhere so let him go now because his lack of loyalty when we showed such loyalty to him during his court case, shows the make up of the man.
Sorry Red, but it's not about form, in my opinion. Redknapp's clearly been distracted by the England job, which he's made no secret that he'd jump at the chance to take. As soon as he got clear of his legal problems he took his eye off the ball, despite Levy's loyalty to him during that time. He didn't learn from last season's problems, weakened the squad in January and he's persistently played our best players out of position, while making some dubious comments in the press. It's little wonder that people have lost patience with him, especially as he's almost certainly going at the end of the season, anyway.
No denying he's improved us over his stay. He's quickly undoing all the good from this season though and when he leaves for England we could be in a bad way.
I've been assuming Redknapp will be gone in the summer. I've been assuming that changing things now will not help. But I'm honestly at the stage now where I just think that any change can't hurt. This is hopeless right now. Clueless, toothless. But it'll cost too much to sack Redknapp now when we could get millions in compensation if we wait til the summer. Levy just wouldn't do that - I don't think.
Of course he would, chilling by his beach house till he gets the call from the fa............ And that's the problem where's his fighting spirit, pride, will to win etc.
Let the FA pay us £10 million for him and he goes in 4 games time even if we win all 4 which I highly doubt. For me he is a West Ham,Portsmouth,Southampton,Brentford,QPR,Millwall sort of manager who can take teams up but then that's it. They are fairly good in the first couple of years but then down they go. He started here with some good players so the making of a good team was already in place but he's no man to stay at the top for long. I've always considered him a Delboy type character.
How quickly things can change. Wasn't long ago we were getting **** from every Spurs fan and many plastics were coming out the woodwork. Harry really has killed your season - but he has also put you in a position where a good season was possible. Hard to know where you go from here.
Redknapp has worked wonders at Spurs. 4 games to go and a chance of the CL, plus he's already got you there. Christ, he has even closed the gap to the top teams, including Arsenal on half the wages. It's still not over yet.
This thread confirms to me that you are the most fickle supporters in England. I have been to your ground few times and most of you are on the mobile phones talking during the match.
