All is forgiven arry, now that Roy got the job you never wanted (even though you talked about it in your sleep) we all believe you never wanted the England job and just wanted an end to all the speculation and your dream is to stay at spurs and build on what you have achieved.

I hope all spurs fans can put their doubts to one side and we can claim arry to be the genius that saved us from relegation (don't tell arry we weren't really in danger) and took us to the champions league.

In all seriousness, the table at the moment actually reflects what our true position should be (3rd/4th there is nothing in it, just one result) as there are two title challengers (city & utd) and in reality no other teams could catch them.

That leaves Ourselves, the goons, newcastle and the chavs and newcastle are the surprise package (one each season) which leaves the rest of us all within 4 points.

The manner in which we went from 3rd to 5th and now back to 4th leaves many fans to believe we "threw" our chance away but now I look at our season it would be fair to say we peaked and were punching above our weight by "looking" like title challengers, then crashed and now possibly finding form again (its only one game against bolton) and were on course for a top four finish and with our current squad that is really all we could hope for.

2 games. Pretty good against Blackburn too. As Villa are no better than either of those, we will hopefully extend the run to 3 good performances. If Newcastle lose to Man City, that is 4th sewn up and 3rd all to play for.

Sounds like WBA are preparing quite a party/send off for Roy on the final day. Lets hope their players are nicely fired up for his farewell.

The problem is that we should have sewn up third by now, but instead we threw away a considerable points advantage in as short a space of time as possible. That may well be overlooked by some, but it shouldn't be ignored.

Not overlooking or forgetting (unfortunately) that, but it is what it is and we have done it.
Now we have to win 2 and put put our hope in the feet of Norwich/WBA/Bayern.

It wouldn't be Spurs if we just cruised into CL qualification. We'd all feel a little bit empty inside if that happened.

Speculation about Harry begins: We go on a terrible run.
Speculation about harry ends: So does our terrible run.

    Coincidence? I wonder...

i shall reserve my judgement till after the Fulham game..or even after the CL final as i think we should have got CL football minimum this year...considering the way we were flying until Harry got his prioraties all mixed up.

I get the feeling the players seem happier on the pitch now the speculation is over and yesterday felt so much more like watching the 'early season' spurs for me!

Let's hope the next two games are as good as the last two!

Time for harry and the players to put the last few months behind them and win back the confidence of the fans!

We have no right to have had third sewn up by now. Considering the amazing position we got ourselves into, yes. But we had no right to get into that amazing position. As I said at the time - people were quick to blame Harry for losing that massive gap but forgot that it was under him that we even got that gap.

Finishing third above Arsenal, Chelsea, even Liverpool would be an amazing achievement bearing in mind the spending power of those clubs. Third would be amazing.

It's just so obvious. I weep bitter tears of blood when people suggest doing anything else with our players.

It also helped massively last night that Bolton actually tried to attack us. We are very limited when teams just turn up to defend. Hopefully Villa at home will want to have a go and will need the points.

I will be livid if we don't get proper backup for Lennon in the summer! We can't keep changing from our best formation every time he gets injured!

Getting into a position is meaningless if you can't stay there. You just have to look at Newcastle blowing it in '95-6 to underline that topping the table is one thing, but finishing top is quite another.

I am not interested in looking at the finances and concluding from that we are overachieving. This team (as I said last season) are the third best in the league that's my opinion and I will stick to it. On that basis 3rd is where should finish as we should have last season, any lower and we have not played to our potential.

Don't forget this squad is actually better than last season and to be fair we have done better over the season than last time but 3rd it should be.

The irony of it is frightening ,most spurs fans complain about being called "fickle supporters " yet here we are with two threads one above the other " Redknapp In " and "Redknapp Out " and most of us on both of them !

I think the redknapp out was driven by the fact nearly everyone thought he was off to manage England anyway!

Every team in the PL including the Manchesters have had dips in form, both lobbing 8pt leads, so not much to complain about there. We were top London club for a while and still could end up so, I can't remember when that happened last. It is improvement, so there is weight to the cause that until improvement stops, it might be foolish to let go and risk another Ramos like saviour who doesn't understand the PL, because there isn't a realistic replacement prepared to come here already in it, and do we really want to continue limping from manager to manager.
