Interesting article at Goal.com claiming that there's a bad breakdown in the relationship between the two. I won't go into details - probably best you read it yourself & see what you think.
seems it's mainly the Modric issue is to Blame cos Harry commented on selling him.Levy does the Buying and selling so Harry should speak to him,not the press
Sorry, mate. Computers aren't really my thing. I grew up in the age of log tables etc. I suppose I should take some lessons. It's headlined "Tottenham - a club divided"
why does he open his mouth to the press without engaging his brain,or are the press using what he says out of context
Arry needs a serious slap around the chops. What part of 'its not up to me mate ask the Chairman' is too hard to say? Shut up Arry. Shut up, Shut Up, Shut Up, Shut Up.
I'm with Ensil on this. His words sound much worse written down and having their context changed by use of the surrounding article. I watched the interview and it seemed to me like Harry wanted to keep Modders. He did say it was a "difficult one" (or something to that effect), but it is, so what is wrong with that?
Unfortunately, I can't view those links over here as they are "not available in your area" Probably something to do with not paying a TV license fee. Anyway, it seems to me that Harry's response to almost any question is, "you'll have to ask the Chaiman" I realise,of course, that that is one way of avoiding having to answer a question. However, it's the way he says it. - almost like, "I'm just the messenger around here, you'll have to ask the boss"
I guess we'll have to wait and see. The Goal. com article was interesting in other aspects. For instance, they claim that Levy would never sell Modric to Chelsea on "a point of principle" not a concept that will be easily grasped at Stamford Bridge, I agree. But, if that is the case, it once again beggars the question, what was Redknapp on about with his comments about Modric being sold? All rather odd.
He is perhaps a tad frustrated that his transfer targets have not materialised and that he just airing as such. However it does suit the media to twist his words so it seems like he is at odds with his boss.
They've decided Modric is leaving, so everything anyone involved with the club says about him is taken out of context to support this view. Journalism, eh?
Oh you can never watch stuff from the beeb ITV and all other UK TV stuff in Spain, you get used to it,after 22yrs in Spain you just learn to find other sources, good luck anyway COYS.This was comment was meant for NowsufferinginSpain.
I've got Sky, with the sports etc. I can get most channels. Just things like BBC I-Player etc I can't get without using a proxy server. Which I can't be bothered to do.
Redknapp did seem a little fed up and not in the best of moods on Thursday night, I wonder if Darth Levy has had a quiet word and told Arry to keep his gob shut.
True. Did you see the way that exploded at the 4th (or possibly 7th, in Europe!) official when he asked him to move from the steps? He was raging about something. Didn't seem too happy during the rest of the game either, but he rarely does.
