About 23000 is the unallocated seating capacity so I doubt it. Edit I maybe read somewhere it is a record cup crowd if that is what you mean
No chance, the record for City is 25,030 vs Liverpool in 2010. The KC's record overall was 25,280 for an England U21 match vs Netherlands back in 2004.
I was going to say that. It's of no relevence to the record crowd. If we're talking record receipts then it matters.
There seems to have been a misjudgement on someones part in not issuing tickets for bespoke seats which would have allowed a full house.
It should be but the segregation clowns wont allow it. Sadly many seats that could and should have been sold will be left empty. It is about time that this situation was addressed ffs. Paying customers left frustrated as certain people dont know what they are doing. @ the KC It will be a shock if more than 400 come from Trenchin.
It'll be a shock if they bring more than 50, they took 23 on a far shorter journey to Vojvodina. They should be opening half a block for their fans with a 2 or 3 rows of segregation either side at the most. If they get 3 entire blocks in the east stand for such a pitiful following i'll ****ing despair.
No one expected tickets to sell as well as they have. Decisions were made to sell as many tickets as fast as possible, this wouldn't have been possible with allocated seats as you'd have the priority periods for pass holders and have to use the ticket office not the club shops. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I think the club made the right decision at the time.
Normally yes, but selling reserved tickets through the ticket office takes a lot longer and costs more (not ideal when there's a short turn around and low ticket prices), also moving ticket sales to the club shops for this game meant being able to sell them in the city centre as well as the stadium.
They could of put every single Trencin fan in the corporate area and treated them like kings. They could then have sold the away section as well. But with owners who couldn't give a flying **** about fans, this was never likely to happen. Someone should of explained to them that they would get more money by this method. A club owned by people who don't care about fans and run by people who havn't got a clue what they are doing. Is anyone shocked by this latest debacle?
I don't believe they would be allowed to do that so do calm down. I don't see any debacle. Everyone that wants a ticket as far as I can tell has got one, and if they haven't then they should have been quicker. Where's the problem?
