According to Newsnow Ream had decided to join Fulham over us. Hope he wasnt one of Ramseys bankers of a signing. very disappointed
....read somewhere, could be Sunday Times, that Fulham offered him better personal terms......kerching.
Sounds like we really are in a different economic climate at the club. As long as we remain in this league this year then it hopefully will be worth it
If we are as bad as we were Saturday much longer, we'll be in League 1 next season. As you said in your OP, I really hope we have some decent defenders, and a good striker lined up, assuming Austin is off. We could also use a decent quick wide man out left.
Maybe his mate Clint Dempsey recommended Fulham to him. Fulham do have a history of Americans playing for them I believe.
I do not see it that way - yet. Agreed we did not play pretty football but we scored two goals against a team that has been established in the Championship for two years now and are clearly a better team than we are currently. I do believe we will improve but only to the point of low/mod table obscurity. It will be galling to see the likes of Brentford possibly finishing above us but, whatever the financial constraints, I do not think we will be relegation fodder.
If we lose Austin without replacement on the last day of the transfer window, I can't see where the goals will come from. Hill only scores once in a blue moon!
Its ok, We've learn from our mistakes The Blue & white half hooped manifesto states it clearly, "Mistakes will not be repeated because Tony has said so" So there, no worries. Won't happen. Triffic. It was all Harry fault last time, wasn't it?
