Sri Lanka have beaten Australia in the First Test of their series by 106 runs but the main story of this game was in Australia's second innings with them trying to bat out a draw they went 154 balls without scoring, that's an incredible 25 successive maiden overs. Another record equalled was Sri Lanka not conceding a single extra in the Australian second innings. It's certainly not T20...

Thats the beauty of cricket in it's original form.
    Not all about scoring.
I remember a test match in the late 70's where Aussie came within an inch of winning against the Poms in England.
Our tail end almost made it but it was not to be.
Give me a test match over 20twenty, anyday.

Any sport is much better when it's a really even contest and both teams giving it everything. Test cricket has so many facets that make it compelling viewing, almost matches within the match. An individual bowler working over a batsman or vice-versa but too often a match is decided by winning the toss and is too one-sided. There are arguments for both Test Cricket and T20, for the purist it will always be Test Cricket but for the new young generation T20 has great appeal as the crowds are showing...
