I wanted all the dust to settle before sending this post, I didn't want to be seen as 'following the crowd'. 5th April 2000 is a date I will never forget for all the wrong reasons Two passionate Leeds following there team around Europe got murdered in Turkey, two everyday run of the middle middle aged family men. Even though I never knew these men, it didn't stop me from from blobbing like a little baby when listening to radio reports on talk sport the following day. Its extremely difficult to try and put these sentiments into words, but I just wanted to say I'm really sorry to hear about one of your fans being murdered. Its distressing enough without the gutter press trying to sensationalise the story to sell more papers. R.I.P M i k e y D y e
I dont know if saying thankyou is the right thing really, but I for one really respect this post, it shows us once more that some things transcend football. Thankyou Rip Mr. Dye.
