I have been waiting for us to be officially nearer the bottom than top to post this. Let's get real and start looking beneath us and not above and begin to worry about the likes of Rotherham and Bristol City rather than Burnley, Hull as we are a million miles away from the latter. The most disappointing bit of this season has been losing with ''journeymen'' rather than the likes of Furlong, Knopwka (sp),Harriman etc. We are currently going nowhere fast whoever is manager but feel Ramsey should be nicking the odd point from defeats such as Derby, Brentford etc. I think I want him to go but am worried we could then be in free fall, if we are not already. Bear in mind we will be losing Austin, Fer and no great loss Sandro and Phillips in Jan, we need to start getting some points asap. Beginning with Sat as PNE are more rivals than most at the moment.
The problem is, who's going to want to take his place, what with no money to spend in January, the prospect of losing the best players* and potentially an unfriendly structure around the position? I suspect gone are the days when we could poach a good manager from another club - wasn't Warnock from Palace the last time? - so unless Colin wants it again, Fernandes is more likely to snuffle about in the bargain basement for more dross. (*term to be used with caution)
On the money .. Th fluff we have on here is nothing but fans coming to terms with the reality of QPR has become .. thats all Said this from day one 14th will be a real result. We are not stable like Burnley Hull and another at least 12 clubs and again I say that is the first thing we should all be considering. Bollocks to the players and the fantasy of picking names. These players will leave because they can play at a better level for more money at a better club. The party was over when we went down with Harold , and the failure of the club was not to sack him then. We got up by pure luck and then brought a load of toss. We always had to sink after such a balls up and with the cut back on money. The club did the right thing holding out on money for these players at the time but will now let them leave for half that price … which is their real value in the first place. Austin will recover but is in the same bracket as a Danny Ings and will only go to a struggling club before getting forgotten. If he was as good as fans believe then he would be at a top six club … he isn't Sandro has been found out and I doubt if he will play in the UK again. Fer and Phillips could do well but either of them as as good as young players coming through th eyouth ranks at proper clubs or the wealth of French or Spanish talent. Austin would be great for Southampton IMO. Get rid of them and then we will have to start with the young players we all wanted
Couldn't agree more, our fans need to realise that the last two promotions maybe the highlight in many a year of supporting the R's. I know this is not a popular view but get used to the fact we are where we are and need to build and it will take time.
Dont agree.............the players CR has at his disposal should be around the play offs and with a decent defender or two higher. As with HR Ramsey has lost the plot. And before everyone disagrees with how good some of our players are watch them set the world alight when they leave us!!!.......
As much as I blame Ramsey a lot of our players yet again need to question their own desire and pride.... We cleared out the "rotten eggs' apparently but I have a feeling a few still remain!
If we did nick the odd away point at places like Derby and Brentford then we would be promotion contenders. 1-0 defeats and it's angry mobs with torches, ready to burn stuff down.
Lads its so tight this division .. yes if but and maybes we would be in the top 4. I 100% agree that we are not playing well enough No one gets promotion in November Keep Calm and Carry On … even if we do lose. We have great players on paper but currently a very poor team. Like Chelsea you have to keep on going … that team last year I hate to say was the best in the UK by miles … this year its not right. Things go around and we honestly have to eat our medicine for the balls up of the past at QPR. We haven't got the team or club to make a difference in the Premier League so why keep thinking we have. We don't have the players that make the difference ( like the one that can't be mentioned … the game changers) Most wanted that new manager new young players … some aren't good enough yet so we are left with some old dinosaurs again because we have no money and could be fined a big sum of money Try and enjoy what you can because we will win again, Look at the other teams above us as proper football clubs that are run properly with good established teams We will beat some of them even badly as crap as we are
Keep calm & carry on you say & try to enjoy it,, I'm sick to death at whats going on with our club & i've never been so downbeat about watching the pathetic way we've been playing, Don't win fcuk all with "so called good players on paper" lets face we are not good enough & nor is the manager end of..
I said last week we were sleepwalking towards a relegation battle and, if anything, we're even worse than I thought. I'm getting pissed off with some on here saying we should be in the Top Six and how good our squad is. Open your eyes, week in week out they can't string three passes together and play like strangers. Add to that a manager who is clearly way out of his depth and a long hard winter ensues...
There's little wrong with the players that a worthwhile manager couldn't sort out. Ramsey is drowning, and the patch up job, bringing Warnock to look over his shoulder, is destined to fail. If we don't beat Preston on Saturday, Ramsey should go. If not, Les Ferdinand will have to explain to the world at large why, when we are sinking down the division, he is content to maintain the status quo
