O'Shea is to old and to ****, Barton is a twat. Duff is past it and can only produce the odd good game. Riise is past it.

I'd rather have young hungry players that want to prove something. Then have older players that are just after one last pay day.

Yeah, ok i admit those were bad examples, i put someone LIKE them though. Except Barton, i feel he would be an ideal signing.

Would anyone say Teddy was a bad for Pompey?, you never know who could do a turn at a club.
Older players look after the youngsters and we have plenty of nippers.
not saying we should sign ex Prem players but their experience could be very valuable.

You people cant really be trying to tell me you want to go into the premier league with our current squad? A group of young (some quite inexperienced) players who are only proven at championship level with absolutely no experience of the premier league?? I can tell you now that without proven PL experience amongst that group we will NOT survive

There is PL experience in the squad, Davies, Bialkowski, Richardson (albeit only four games), Fox, Jaidi, Cork, Chaplow and Connolly have all played in the premier league (some more successfully than others). I'm with the majority here, we don't need to copy pompey and pick up players from the brink of retirement, I'd like to see us stick to a core of younger players who can grow with the club (many of whom are already with us).
