I read in the Times today that Real Madrid are trying to secure the services of Branna! Apparently he still has 4 years left on his contract so he wouldnt come cheap, but we wouldn't trade him -would we? As far as I'm concerned, he was one of our best players last year--if not THE best! I think we should show Jose and his lot, the victory sign in reverse, if this report proves to be true! What say you--Blues?
Not a blue, but just trawling to see who everyone else is looking at or getting rid of..... Ivanovic was great for you last year, and i would have thought he was going to phase out terry over the coming years...Youd be nuts to get rid of him
I think with the show that Luiz and Cahill put in , in Munich JT might have had to start working hard for his place in central defence anyway! With cole and Branna as wing backs and Cech in goal, I'd say that has the makings of a fortress!
One of our top three players last season, id sooner let Cole go than Ivan we've got a ready replacement in Bertrand personaly i wanna keep the pair of em so message too Jose hands orf !!!!!!
Straight swap for Ronaldo aside, he aint going nowhere!! Never been totally convinced by Ivan as a centre back but a really solid right back and a real threat from set pieces. Defo one to keep.
I'm surprised that teams are not trying to purchase our luck, as apparently it is the most important and only reason of our success this year.
It would be nice to think that Branna would be cool enough to say " Sorry Jose, I want to play for the best club in Europe!"
This cheered me up a bit blue, he appears to kind of dismiss the talk of a move to Spain in the guardian http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/may/28/chelsea-branislav-ivanovic-real-madrid
Drogs --It's nice to see there has been a response to this report by Branna! I trust his words are well meant, as it would be nice to have a culture where players want to be a Blue rather than with Real or Barca!
Raphael Varane could take a big step in his career next season and could make a lot more appearances than what he had last season. Even in the small amount of chances he was given he impressed and had received praise from all angles. If anything I'd say Ivanovic would take Arbeloas spot at right back and keep Sergio Ramos next to Pepe. With Roman splashing out the moolah this summer and investing in younger players I hope it gives Ivanovic the impression that the club is taking that step forward and challenge for the Premier League title next season. But with Real Madrid's gradual rise in European football again a move to Spain could be very tempting.
Ivan is crucial to us maintaining our position next year. When and only when, we have a ready made replacement, as we have at LB and CB's ,would you even consider it. So for now, no way Jose.

He just has to think of it this way. Play for the best team in Europe or not. Simple. No surprise however that the papers are already trying to unsettle the Chelsea boys. I'm surprised that new allegations haven't been made by some disgruntled fan for lifting the CL trophy.
