How a league cup tie should be . Comfortable win with new players doing well including a real cracker from Quina . Great to see Chalobah back - good work for Success goal .
No question about it. As I've already booked all my leave for next year, a European Tour is pretty much a given!
If Javi Craciar keeps this up for the season we might have a second statue outside the ground We now have real competition for the starting line up, team spirit and no apparent divisions among the players A pity we didn't start with Javi last season, we might be playing Thursday football instead of Burnley
We probably all thought that about MS too. however JG does seem a bit more attuned to WFC. A new medical team are in place apparently. (Anyone wish to confirm this ?). After 5 games we'll have a better picture. But hey - it's exciting times!
Only 4 games in, yes squad look in good shape and are together. However, the season is still very, very young.
We beat Reading with 10 men according to this: http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...na-and-ben-wilmot-impress-in-carabao-cup-win/
Yup, we need to stay calm (as scullion would say ) In four games time it might look like: Played 7 Won 3 Drawn 1 Lost 3 Goals for 8 Goals against 9 Points 10 ...... and we are in 10th place. We still might have played really well but just a little unlucky (we couldn't complain as we've been lucky so far). We'd still be in a position that many would have taken at day one. But we might just be 5 points above the drop zone. And today's position would look like a distant dream. Don't know how many points we should expect from Spurs, ManU, Fulham, Arsenal - but I'd bite your hand off for five
Ian Holloway impressed on the Quest highlights - and says we have a good transfer policy ! Wasn't saying that a few years ago ..
