We're playing them at AG in july http://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/article/20130605-readingfriendly-855460.aspx
But not the BIG home fixture we wanted and that is no disrespect to Reading. Plus why only one home fixture yet again?
I just want our players to be fit and ready for the first competitive game - don't care who we play pre-season (well maybe Dorchester away would be nice)
bit of a bogey team but just glad we have arranged a home friendly. I bet reading fans are over the moon with this arrangement
SOD's view is, “It’s a good way to end pre-season. “We play a team that have come down from the Premier League in Reading and arguably the best team in League One last season, Bournemouth, in the days leading up to the first league fixture. Must say I do agree with you...
I wish we could play real Madrid, Arsenal, Man UTD etc but what we have to take into consideration is which half decent team will want to play Bristol city for a friendly? Not many teams would want that. If we were in the prem would any of you want to see us playing Peterborough away for a friendly? Yes we don't get great games for friendlies but we're not a great team to play for a friendly.

Sorry two micky mouse friendlies and Bournemouth away coupled with Reading at home now usually the home team is the lower ranked of the two so how come we have to go to Bournemouth? I hope they can get someone better than the first two sides for the third fixture as I can't see playing non league teams is going to tell us anything at all.
