Off Topic Raving

Any ex ravers out there?

I used to go to Fantazias, After Dark, and the odd forest rave back in the day.

Used to drink lots of water to stay hydrated.

 

I didn't really get that into it I used to just neck cowies and use decks in garages

 

Ever pissed in your girlfriends mams biscuit tin?

 

No but I piss over her mother's cooking books

 

I used to buy Rave magazine and that's about it.

 

I've dj'd house and techno for getting in for 20 years now. Played some cracking nights. I was just to young too get out to see the golden age of the rave scene in the UK but I've certainly done my fair share of raving. Pretty tricky with a little one to worry about now though.

 

I did turbulence a couple of times in the latter stages of my ecstasy days

 

Forest rages were the best mate. Some lad with a pair of technic 1210’s in the back of a camper van and some big fool off base bins and we were sorted. I never did work out how they powered the kit like.

My claim to fame was that I helped set up the moon flowers for a shades of Rythm gig in Howden and the lead singer rolled me a fat one as a thank you.

 

Tall Trees in Boro was class. Used to get a minibus down from Eivessa(?) In shields. The glory days

Nice one! Sound of Eden is a great record. I guess mine would be meeting Richard West (Mr C) from the Shamen a few times. Played on the same line up as him once. We all got right on it.

 

Yeah I know. I just went with mates, didn't even like the music but it was class. Sorry I'm not a total charva like you

 

Charver or goth that was your choice then ... theres too many genres for people to waste their lives in these days

 

Aye, I hung around with the charvas but always preferred the goths music
