It is being reported that Manchester United's Ravel Morrison was interviewed over harassment claims by police.

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/jul/21/manchester-united-ravel-morrison-harassment

Ravel is the subject of a 12-month referral order and has been warned that if he breaks that order he will be sent to prison for a year. He apparently wasn't arrested and attended the Police station with his solicitor voluntarily. However this development if indeed correct is surely not welcome for SAF who has stood by the young talented winger.

Ravel cannot it seem stay away from trouble and even after all the warnings from the court, at the end of last season managed to upset staff at OT by sending derogatory tweets during and after the club's player-of-the-year awards dinner.

Question is how much time has the lad got or should SAF cut him loose?

You know those buttons the old people have in order to automatically alert the emergency services if they are in trouble? I reckon Morrison has one of those to get in contact with his solictor. What a Grade A tube.

Aye. Innocent until proven guilty and all that. But must admit I'm getting tired of hearing about Morrison and trouble etc. Don't want an Andy Carroll at our club.

I doubt the guy does it all on his own. As he's so young I'd hardly be surprised if he didn't have some group of friends latched on to him pushing his buttons and getting him to do all the stupid stuff he does.

Some loan time abroad would probably benefit him, as acting up in a country like Italy or Portugal would probably end up with him in the hospital.

The bloke is 18 years old. At that age a man has to start making his own decisions and to take responsibility over his actions.

He's apparently is or was apart of a gang. Going away could benefit him because it would cut the ties with said gang. On the other hand it might be best if Fergie and the other coaches are on top of him here in Manchester.

    Agreed.

That is no excuse. When I was his age I didn't do any of the stuff he is alleged to have done. If he cannot keep his nose clean he must be cut loose because he is representing the club and his actions will eventually blow back on United.

Bring back national service for people like him is what I say.

Perhaps your manager should be the one trying to set him on the straight and narrow...

A few words from the manager pathing out your career for you could be just what he needs to stay out of trouble.

Totally agree, the idiot has the world at his feet and could go on to make a big inpack ( I rate him that highly), but he needs to grown the f**k up and stop this sort off field behavior. Not only is it bad news for him, but also for our great club.

SAF will be disappointed to hear his in trouble again, weather it true or not, the fact his avoild jail last time he should be staying away from there's so called "friends".

I personally dont like the fact his been done before for attacking his girlfriend and his own mother "WTF", now if that's true then it says a lot about him as a young man and I don't want his "sort" at our club. Weather the girlfriend thing is true or not, his choice in women is wrong or the real fact he likes to beat up women says to me his a scum-bag, let along attack your own mum thats just way to,to much!

Personally I think a couple of months inside, might teach this fool a valid lesson in life. His 18 years old and a man so he needs to start acting like one and handling his business in a professional manner.

Ravel wake the f**k up, before its too late, if its not already lad.

If he doesn't wise up soon we should ship him out to Newcastle where he belongs. He and Joey Barton would have a ball <diva>

I'm pretty sure SAF has tried that already. More words than just a few, too.
