    No, too old (five years ago like a shot). Even with his quick brain he would get lost in the pace and physicality of the PL, doubt we would pay the wages he would be after anyway.

    I thought he'd have been a good signing last season when we were linked to him but he's not really the best lone striker and with VDV we could do with someone with strength and as NSS keeps telling me, we could do with pace to keep up with our wingers too. Raul has experience and skill going for him but they're not the main things we need in our strikers at the moment.
